Skills and procedures I learned while in this class
Coming into this class I had no experience with any picture editing program except for windows Paint program. Early on, the Meme creator program was simple to use. It was until we got to the Gif creator that I started to have issues. The biggest problem I had with the Gif creator was the timing aspect. I had troubles maintaining an even keel and a steadiness in the animation introduction of each new frame. After a couple hours of working with the program I not only figured out the simple timing issue but I unlocked a plethera of new skills that will help me with many animation projects in the future. The hardest program that I used was the Gimp Creator. I had troubles and untold frustrations with getting the right animations and shapes to appear. While dealing with that I struggled with the layering and the background of the program.
Would This College Logo repersent CASL U of M Dearborn?
The logo I chose is the Louisiana State University Tigers, more commonly known as LSU. As a college football fan and former football player, a teams colors and mascot had to represent the style of player I envisioned myself as. This logo represents a fierce type of player. One that has the quickness and strength that resembles that of the very animal that strolls the sidelines on Saturday for LSU, a tiger. This logo is finished off with the color that ferocity and passion is connected to, purple. This brand describes the players that use to play for LSU and the type of players that will soon play for LSU. The Tiger brand fits the institution in my opinion. Unfortunately I don't see CASL being represent well by purple, white and yellow. The colors don't fit our scheme nor does the visual imagery that comes to mind when I think of what a tiger represents compared to what CASL represents.

This animated Gif was created to explain the eye of Horus. As legend goes, Horus, the god of life and rejuvenation brought his father back to life by placing his magical eye on top of his lifeless body. This symbol is also recognized as the eye of re. Re is the God of the Sun in the Egyptian religion. This Gif bridges the gap between Horus and Re as the sun beams down onto the eye of Horus and grows a stalk of corn.

This animated Gif is from season 3 of Game of thrones. This Gif is a scene where young, newly anointed, King Jeofrey is yelling at his uncle Tyrion. Tyrion was the hand of the King, Meaning next in command essentially. While he was Hand, Tyrion talked down to Jeofrey in a manner in which he burst out with anger, shouting his title to remind the disrespectful Tyrion of his place of power.

This Meme really speaks to me because it bridges the gap between my favorite television show, Game Of Thrones and my favorite artist Eminem.

The meme I chose was created by a quickmemes.com. Its a message that many Ypsilanti and Ann arbor locals recognize. Essentially Ypsilanti and Ann arbor are so intertwined that you don't realize when you leave one and enter the other. The only real difference is the danger. Over the past couple of years Ypsilanti has had a growing murder and theft rate so many realize that Ypsilanti is an area you should stay out of.
